- Adirondack Marathon: Schroon Lake. NY USATF Certified Course. End of September. 26 mile run around Schroon Lake.

- Fishing: Long known as the "Grand Slam Fishing Capital of the Northeast" Lake George is home to 9 major game fish: Landlocked salmon, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike & Pickerel.
- Summer: Canoe and Kayak through miles of twisting rivers enjoying nature at it's purest.
- Warren County Bikeway: Starts at the southern tip of Lake George in Battleground Park for about 10 miles to the town of Queensbury. Enjoy roller skating, horseback riding, tennis, golf, scenic drives & hiking. Mountain Biking & hiking trails. Over 180 Miles of trails of all abilities levels, 11 loops from 8-12 miles.
- Winter: Enjoy groomed cross-country trails or a day of downhill skiing at Gore Mountain in North Creek, Hickory Ski Center in Warrensburg and West Mountain in Queensbury. Snowmobiling on over 100 miles of groomed trails. Toboggan and Sledding, snowshoe, Ice Fish & Ice Skate.
