Private Home on Schroon Lake

Season: Last Sunday in June to Labor Day Sunday
Off Season: mid May to last Saturday in June
& Labor Day Sunday to end of September

Villa Carefree is a tastefully decorated house with all modern conveniences.  On the first floor is a fully equipped modern kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave.  There are two dining tables and chairs, as well as a sitting area.  Facing the lake is an entire wall of picture windows and a sliding door onto a big sundeck.  The first floor also includes one bedroom with one queen sized bed and one double bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer.

On the 2nd floor there is a large living room with a cathedral ceiling.  Facing the lake is a full wall of windows and a sliding door onto a small deck, offering a beautiful lake and island view.  There are two bedrooms; each has a comfortable queen sized bed.  There is also a full bathroom with a tub and shower.

There is plenty of closet space all throughout the house, as well as wall to wall carpeting.  You will find ceiling fans in every room, as well as electric baseboard heat.

Outside is a picnic table, a variety of chairs, and a gas grill.  On the deck is a screened enclosure with a table and chairs.  Shuffleboard and a portable fireplace are available for your enjoyment.

We have a private beach and a dock for your boat. A rowboat is provided, but please bring life preservers if you plan to use it.

Schroon Lake offers great fishing for bass, pickerel, trout, and other fish.

Many attractions are nearby including Lake Placid, Ausable Chasm, Lake George and many more.
